Vallåkra Bike & Wine Experience

The cycling experience in Vallåkrabygden is an activity that combines electric cycling with local food and drink experiences just south of Helsingborg. The electric bikes can either be picked up from Travelshop at Helsingborg C or directly from Aplagården B&B and vineyard in Bårslöv.

Aplagården B&B and vineyard have a long history of viticulture that stretches back to the mid-1900s. The business is small but established, and Aplagården produces wine with a focus on quality and artisanal methods. Their portfolio includes a dry wine made from Solaris and a dessert wine produced according to the traditional method. The visit to Aplagården includes a guided tour of the vineyard where the farm's wine production and cultivation are presented.

The wine experience continues with a tasting of four wines, where a tasting tray with cheese and charcuterie is served to complement the wines.

During the bike tour, there is also the opportunity to visit other local attractions in the Vallåkra area, such as Vallåkra Stenkärlsfabrik and studios with ceramicists and craftsmen. The Vallåkra area is characterized by open fields, small roads and a rich handicraft tradition.

After the visit to Aplagården and the wine tasting, the tour can continue towards Råå, where a classic Scanian dish - egg cake with cured fried pork and lingonberries can be included as a meal stop. The day can end in central Helsingborg, for example with dessert at Hotel Mollberg.

The experience can be booked either only with wine tasting at Aplagården or with a meal in Råå and dessert in Helsingborg, which provides a complete taste and culture experience.
